Carolus Rex

Carolus Rex is currently a member of Unigamia at the rank of Parsec Prefect, a birthday announcer, he joined in February of 2019. He has a Twitch and a YouTube, he is a partnered content creator with UGA, a close friend of PatPeter, MyBrotherDaryl, and everyone in UGA!

Name History

• ItzzYellow: Carolus's first-ever discord name was "ItzzYellow", he made the name in 5th Grade (2015) because his favorite color was Yellow. He kept this name all the way up to February of 2019. 2015-2019
• Hauptmann Bright: Carolus's second name was "Hauptmann Bright", he made this his name due to the love of the SCP Fandom, especially Doctor Bright, and his love of German history (Hauptmann translates to the rank of Captain). His official forum name was Hauptmann up until 2020.
• King Charles the 12th of Sweden: Carolus's third name was "King Charles the 12th of Sweden" due to his love of Swedish history, mainly the Great Northern War (1700-1720) and King Charles. He also wanted a rebranding from the Hauptmann name, as many people grew to dislike him. Carolus would apply for SCP Secret Laboratory mod under this name and would be accepted.
• Carolus Rex: Due to his Steam name being "Carolus Rex" Carolus changed his Discord name to it too. Carolus Rex roughly translates to "King Charles" (Referring to the previous name). It was a short, and bold name. Carolus would have this name from November 2019 to January 2021. Under this name, Carolus achieved a discord mod rank and is remembered and called by this name to this day.
• Hitch Dreyse: Carolus's 5th name was "Hitch Dreyse" from the popular anime "Attack on Titan". Hitch was a private and is currently an officer in the Military Police in the anime and is a side character. He has many gifs of her during the series and is often called a "Femboy" due to this. The founder of Unigamia, PatPeter really dislikes Hitch in the series and hopes she will die, often calling her insulting names due to being a "bad character" in his eyes.
• Mumei: The current name used by Carolus is "Mumei" Mumei is Japanese (無名) and it translates to "Anonymous" in English. Carolus acquired this name by watching the anime "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" Mumei is a young woman who fights the Kabane and is a Kabaneri herself. Carolus liked the name so he changed it to it.

Background

Carolus lives in Minnesota, his heritage is Swedish-Austrian, he stands at 5'10. Carolus's first game he ever played was Pokemon Heartgold and Diamond, 2 games he still holds in high regard to this day, his favorite band is Sabaton. He played Nintendo DSi games up until the Xbox One was released and his brother gave him his old Xbox 360, Carolus played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and was hooked on First Person Shooters. Carolus around this time also discovered Minecraft which he loved to play. Carolus ended up getting a laptop in 2014ish which he downloaded Minecraft on, he also first got into YouTube recording and Twitch Streaming. Sadly in 2016, his computer broke and he decided to follow his brother onto the Xbox One. Carolus got the Xbox One S around November of 2016, he mainly played Madden Football games and Minecraft on it until February 2017 when Battlefield 1 was on sale... this is where the official gaming part comes into play.

Battlefield One

Carolus and his brother both bought Battlefield 1 for about $25, he was instantly hooked on the World War One FPS (First Person Shooter). He honed his skills on the game for hours every day and eventually met a man with a funny Irish accent who invited him to his company, "BAMF" (Bad Ass Mother Fuckers). Carolus played mainly the Assault and Medic role in the company. Around this time the company was renamed "Dragon Force". Carolus loved the company and began competing in the "Battlefield Premier League" (BPL) hosted by Kamaka who Carolus remains fairly in touch with to this day! Sadly he and Dragon Force had a falling out when he and another member disagreed on a topic and Carolus was moved to the "Beta" team as a backup. Carolus played in the Beta team for a few weeks before leaving due to no progress. He joined a newly formed team called "AOTG" Carolus enjoyed his time there, top fragging in multiple games as a medic during 32 vs 32 practice battles against other BPL teams. Sadly Carolus could not afford the time to participate in the league and had to drop out due to outside factors.

The Rest of the Gaming

Carolus after Battlefield 1 found a new game in September of 2017 called "Fortnite". The game was very new and was gaining traction fast. Carolus was instantly hooked trying to get a Victory Royale. He was very good with the PvP shooting aspect due to his experience with Battlefield 1. He was considered one of the best in his school, helping to carry people from his school to wins. Carolus met his now best IRL friends playing the game. But during Fortnite Season 4 everything changed when the "Creative Mode" was added to Fortnite. Players could suddenly build super-fast, they learned to do stuff in 2 weeks that took the rest of the players 6 months to accomplish. Carolus didn't really like the building aspect but he still played on, getting fewer wins than usual but still a decent amount. As more sweats started playing the game Carolus started to get sick of it and branched off from his friends only playing Fortnite, he got a Gaming PC and downloaded a free-to-play game called "SCP SL" and he was also very hooked with the game. Carolus met many people who are his friends today and thanks Craz for false-banning him over 2 Team Kills because that brought him to the discord. Carolus became a mod of SCP SL in November 2019 but in April of 2020, he suddenly was moved in with his grandparents due to his basement being finished and online school. The only thing he brought with him was his DSi and iPhone. During this time SCP SL died out for him in favor of new games such as "Rainbow Six Siege" and "Team Fortress 2" (He had been playing TF2 since his first computer back in 2015, and R6 in early 2019). Eventually, he moved on to those games and occasionally visits SCP SL every now and then. His current favorite game is Team Fortress 2 and Rainbow Six Siege. He also enjoys playing in community nights with Unigamia.
