Rules are not laws and therefore hold no punishment value. Rules exist for either guideline or satirical purposes, emulating the beliefs of the community.
|UGA|
- They always come back.
- Every |UGA| member will at some point in time ragequit, long-term idle, or disappear for an extended period of time, but the best of these members always return to |UGA|.
- The Rule of Mics:
- Any |UGA| member who joined without a microphone will be an inconsiderate asshole/douchebag when he or she gets a mic.
- Every game is fun with friends.
- Any game played with other |UGA| members can be fun, but this does not mean members should feel obligated to play.
- Every girl on the internet has a boyfriend.
- Especially the ones that join |UGA|.
- Every member of the |UGA| must watch two anime series.
- Code Geass and Clannad.
Steam
- No member shall buy a game on Steam that is not discounted.
- When playing a game compatible with HLSS/HLDJ, only one 'veto' is required to force a change of song or removal of music.
Games
Left 4 Dead 2
Laws
- Don't join a private game without asking permission first.
- |UGA| vs. |UGA| Left 4 Dead 2 games are prohibited unless everyone involved agrees to the type of game and its conditions prior to starting.
- A Casual L4D2 game keeps all |UGA| members in one TeamSpeak channel and prohibits competition (everyone must agree to relinquish their incentive to win).
- A Competitive L4D2 game separates |UGA| members into separate channels with the purpose of beating another team.
- Don't read enemy chat, ever.
- Never call a kick vote on |UGA| members.
- Do not have compassion on pubbers.
- When mercy is given, pubbers either take advantage of said mercy and flame/troll |UGA| members, or after 'giving them an inch they take a mile' and end up winning the game.
- Do not teach pubbers.
- Pubbers do not deserve to be taught unless they are recruits for |UGA|.
- Do not accuse another member of griefing or otherwise for leaving a round to avoid a loss.
- Do not leave the safe room until the enemy team loads in.
- Only applicable with tags on.
- Do not attempt to restart a game without just cause and community approval.
- When a |UGA| team has between 600 to 1000+ points more than pubbers in Left 4 Dead 2 and no Constitutional laws have been broken (flaming, trolling, or griefing the other team), that team must come to a consensus on what point surplus to put the tags on, and put the tags on at that time.
Rules
- Left 4 Dead 2 is a bad game that killed Left 4 Dead.
- Always rush on the original Left 4 Dead campaigns, fourth map.
- Pass no jukebox without starting it.
- "The Rule of Fourths" — the fourth player will always cause your team of three friends to lose.
- Know the Formations:
- Alpha Formation - All teammates cover each other and play normally.
- Beta Formation - Two teammates advance forward as quickly as possible to disrupt the enemy team.
- Gamma Formation - One teammate rushes forward while three cover each other.
- Delta Formation - All players advance at their own pace.
- Omega Formation - All players rush as quickly as possible without covering, protecting, or saving each other.
- Close all doors. No exception.
- You must always protect Gas-chan, Oxy-kun, and Hank-sama.
- No member shall deny that Rochelle has a penis.
- You must always kill Rochelle when she wants you to axs her a question.
- You must always vote yes to an All Talk vote.
Creeds
- Left 4 Dead 2 is a game of two dimensions: a game to win, and a game of politics. Don't harass the other team or you'll get a ragequit.
- Follow the buddy system — when separated always stay in pairs as human.
- Do not call a kick vote on someone to get a fourth in without asking that player to leave first.
- Never heal on yellow or solid red when the team has pills (and sometimes adrenaline).
- Always call your target as infected.
- Never attack by yourself as infected unless prudent.
- Always call your artillery, i.e. "throwing molly!" and "piping!".
- Always assign a point man in expert with 3 feet of leeway behind him or her to deal with incoming horde.
- Quit while your ahead (if you have a really good campaign, don't play another).
- 40% of the time the player with the second-highest score gets tank; 30% of the time the player with the highest score gets tank; 20% of the time the third-highest score gets tank; and 10% of the time the lowest score gets tank.
Dungeon Defenders
- No member shall use more defense points than the total number of defense points divided by the number of players.
- Unless given permission by another player to use his or her defense points.
- If a player has a designated side assigned, no other players may take that player's loot or mana without consent of that player.
- Players may, however, accidentally take mana if that player's side leaks, which is negligible.
- No player shall sell another player's defenses without permission.
